NAZARENE THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY OFFERING:  

The inauguration of Dr. David  A. Busic in October 2011 as the 9th President of Nazarene Theological Seminary is a continuation of a great stream of Godly leadership that the institution has enjoyed since it’s birth.  

Dr. Busic comments on the vision of  NTS ... ”The spreading and conserving of scriptural holiness is due to the number and quality of our preachers”. Thus, he surmised, “We need more preachers and better preachers” (Herald of Holiness, 1928).  Dr. Busic continues...”I don’t want to put words in his mouth, but I wonder if in 2011, Dr. Chapman might say it this way ... we need more pastors and better pastors”.  Nazarene Theological Seminary is committed to being a missional seminary serving a missional church wherever that mission is taking place.  

So, on Sunday 29th January (or a more suitable time) let’s receive a good offering for NTS.  Unlike our USA/Canada Universities, NTS does not receive a district apportionment.  She depends on two sources ... World Evangelism Fund and the Annual Offering.

I ask that you not only give, but that you also pray for the ongoing work of Nazarene Theological Seminary.
