On Monday Oct 10/2011  Pastor Grant organized a Dinner for the  Salvation Army Sutton Youth  Shelter residents, Georgina  community youth, and Community members, as well as members from Cedardale Church of The Nazarene!

In all 53 turned out and we had a blast!

The dinner was called:

" Thanksgivingius Maximus " Turkey Dinner Event !
set in the Roman era, we had a Roman feast that consisted of Turkey and all the trimmings.

This was a non profit event and it was a huge success as 100% of the youth I work with turned out to help and enjoy a dinner together.
We truly celebrated together and a real sense of Community and camaraderie envelpoed us ... Christ was part of this fantastic event and when we opened in prayer all the youtth who had soldier helmets on took them off in salute to the true King of Kings!
