Tom Min Missionary-Evangelist
Tom and his family owned the New Port Bolster Convenience Store until the Spring of 2011. Tom was active in ministering to his community for many years. Most recently, Tom has been sharing Christ with customers who come into his store, utilizing the Four Spiritual Principles (formerly "Four Spiritual Laws") to introduce people to the overwhelming and unconditional love of God. Tom and his wife, Kim, have been training and preparing themselves to enter the mission-field in southeast Asia. |
TestimonyMy name is Tom Min. I am from Korea. I learned about and received Jesus Christ in 1977 while attending high-school, in Korea. I graduated from Chonbuk National University, having majored in Business Administration. I came to Canada October 15th, 1999. I moved to Port Bolster on December 1st, 2000. While still in Korea, I worked at Kia Motors. In Canada, I run a variety store in Port Bolster. I also work as a Real Estate Broker. Here in Canada I studied for one semester at a reformed Presbyterian Seminary. I am married to Kimberly Min. Together, we have two children. My son, John, is studying to become a Denturist, and my daughter, Grace, is studying Optometry. I serve as a member of the Light Korean Presbyterian Church which, in the Spring of 2009, outgrew its previous Toronto location and moved to Malton, near Pearson Airport. I have been trained in evangelism ministry at the New Life Training Center (Basic and Intensive Courses), and participated in the Alpha program with Cedardale Church and my Korean church. Some major events that I have been involved with include the Korean Culture Night (see last page: PP-Aug-10, PP-Sep-10) here in Port Bolster in 2005 (with Pastor Ken and the Cedardale Church worship team), the Peter Tour Mission (every year), Mission Rooms (a home that I owned in Toronto to provide accommodation for visiting missionaries, from 2006 until 2010). As well, I have my current Daily Mission in which, during the last six months, I have explained God’s amazing love to more than 160 people as of today (more than 220 by the time Tom and Kim entered into intensive training for the mission-field in Spring 2011). I received two Evangelism Awards from the Light Presbyterian Church (2009-2010). |
Sunday, February 26th 2012Come and greet Tom and Kim as they visit with us at 10:00 a.m., along with some friends. Delight in the testimonies, the Korean costumes, and Tom's update of how God has been preparing his and Kim's life and hearts for their venture into the mission-fields of southeast Asia.
| Tom and Kim will be heading for Korea, shortly, so don't miss this opportunity to meet and fellowship with them before their departure. |
