Jesus Visits Martha and Mary (Luke 10: 38-42) As Jesus and the disciples continued on their way to Jerusalem, they came to a certain village where a woman named Martha welcomed him into her home. Her sister, Mary, sat at the Lord’s feet, listening to what he taught. But Martha was distracted by the big dinner she was preparing. She came to Jesus and said, “Lord, doesn’t it seem unfair to you that my sister just sits here while I do all the work? Tell her to come and help me.” But the Lord said to her, “My dear Martha, you are worried and upset over all these details! There is only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it, and it will not be taken away from her.” |
2 Corinthians 4: 7-10 We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. We now have this treasure in clay jars. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves. We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. Through suffering, our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies. |
We gather together to worship and praise our God, Who is above all worldly things,
Who chooses to Love us and walk with us through the storms that come our way.
As we do gather, we are blessed by His presence and by His Love, and because we know
we are never alone when we open our hearts to our Creator and our Saviour!
Praise His Holy Name! Come, LORD Jesus!
Who chooses to Love us and walk with us through the storms that come our way.
As we do gather, we are blessed by His presence and by His Love, and because we know
we are never alone when we open our hearts to our Creator and our Saviour!
Praise His Holy Name! Come, LORD Jesus!

SCRIPTURE
Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.
When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.
Then Jesus came to them and said,
"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them
in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
- Matthew 28: 16-20

ISAIAH 40: 27-31
27 Why do you say, O Jacob,
And speak, O Israel: “My way is hidden from the Lord, And my just claim is passed over by my God”? 28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. |
29 He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, 31But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. |

Benediction:
Dear brothers and sisters: Be joyful. Grow to maturity. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you. Greet each other with a sacred kiss (when we can be together again). All of God’s people here send you their greetings. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. (2 Corinthians 13: 11-14) |
